I hope that if you get anything out of today’s MLB Bullets, it’s that the Cubs aren’t the only team dealing with injuries to crucial players at the moment. It’s one big butcher’s bill today.
- Outfielders Juan Soto of the Nationals and Ronald Acuña of the Braves look to be the next superstars of the game. They’re both very good now, but Michael Baumann debates himself on which player will have the better career.
- Do you remember when Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar was supposed to be the next big thing in baseball? It’s been a several years and a few operations later, but Jay Jaffe writes that Profar is finally a pretty good ballplayer. Maybe not the superstar we thought he’d be, but certainly a productive and valuable major leaguer.
