Cub Tracks drops one

Boring, really boring, greater commitment to hydration, and other bullets

Congratulations are in order for Javier Baez, Willson Contreras, and Jon Lester, who were named to the NL All-Star team.

Congratulations to our 2018 All-Stars and thank you #Cubs fans for voting! #EverybodyIn

Congratulations are also in order for Kyle Hendricks, who seems to have solved his mechanical difficulties, based on last night’s results (8⅓, nice). I’m gonna blame Anthony Rizzo and Baez falling asleep on the one play on tiredness. Afternoon games, a late flight, and a late start on West Coast time isn’t exactly a recipe for success.

That could have ended better. Ugh. Cutch needs better bats.

Cubs News and Notes:

Hey there @MLB I’m trying to buy myself an All-Star jersey (I was told I made the team) but I can’t seem to find one with my name on it. You guys mad at me? Did I get cut?
